Background
Applied Geotechnical Engineering are a team of consultants with blue-chip clients in the construction industry. They've worked on the new Wembley Stadium, massive North Sea oil rigs and are also called on for expert witness work and dispute resolution. They needed a full corporate ID and promotional image strategy.
The Brief
As we developed the brief, it soon became apparent that we should broaden their appeal of their promotional material as much as possible to attract clients such as solicitors, architects and surveyors. We sought to distinguish AGE from the competition by highlighting their ability to solve problems, and developed a theme using imagery of a wooden puzzle. Most other companies in the construction industry just use photographs of sites and plant machinery, so AGE's new look was a breath of fresh air and has been very well received.
