Background

A Round Dorset Walk is an illustrated guide to a 181-mile walk around Dorset, written by Steve Crockford. The book was published in July 2006 and a website was needed to promote the book and possibly to provide the facility for on-line sales at a later date.

The Brief

As something of a departure from much of our recent (more coprorate) work, this site needed to appeal to the walking community and also embody the style and theme of the book. The book is all written in the first person, so we chose to develop a graphic style around the idea of the author 'in correspondence' with the site visitor.
